Neue Platte im Kasten!
Die Herren vom Black Rebel Motorcycle Club haben just bekannt gegeben, dass sie einen Nachfolger zum "Howl"-Album fertig gestellt haben! "Baby 81" soll es heißen, wird in Amerika am 01. Mai 2007 erscheinen, das Veröffentlichungsdatum für Europa soll in Kürze folgen. Und Robert Turner lässt schonmal verlauten: "I know we've kept the direction and sound a bit of a secret on this album, but it's basically what we do best, 3 guys playing rock'n'roll better than any other band can. / It's dirty and it's beautiful, but the most important thing is that it's a part of all three of us again." Große Worte, denen hoffentlich auch große Songs folgen werden. Über den Titel "Baby 81" sagt Robert noch: "It comes from a story during the Tsunami about a lost child. It was the 81st baby admitted to this hospital in Kalmunai and nine mothers came forward to claim the child as their own."
