Dana Gavanski - "I Talk To The Wind"
Die kanadische Folk-Durchstarterin mit serbischen Wurzeln hat im März mit "Yesterday Is Gone" eines des der schönsten Debütalben des Jahres veröffentlicht, nun covert sie King Crimson. Die selbst sagt: "One of the first records I ever bought in my late teens was King Crimson’s 'In The Court Of The Crimson King", a prog rock masterpiece. It was the first time I heard this song and was a super important record for me. It also has this amazing raging mad album cover depicting the Schizoid Man." Danas Version gibt es hier

Zachary Cale - "False Spring"
Bereits letzte Woche erschien "False Spring" von Zachary Cale, ein famoses Doppel-Album voll mit Americana-Songwriter-Perlen. Heute gehen alle Bandcamp-Einahmen für diese Platte und alle weiteren Cale-Werke an den guten Zweck: "I’ll be donating all the money made via Bandcamp sales this weekend to @blklivesmatter and @campaignzero. We all need to do better to stand up for black lives and amplify black voices. Shut down systemic racism in all its forms. Reform and defund the police. Let’s spread unity and empathy." Simon Joyner - "Bring Down Goliath" / "A Simple Song"
Amerikas bester unbekannter Singer/Songwriter veröffentlicht eine handgemachte Lathe-Cut-7"in 125er Auflage, mit einer neuen Version seines Songs "Bring Down Goliath" auf der einen Seite und einem Lyle-Lovett-Cover auf der anderen. Außerdem gibt es neue digitale Songs: Eine 12-Minuten Version von Sandy Dennys "Who Knows Where The Time Goes" und eine 19-Minuten-Jam namens "Nightime", die letztes Jahr in Asheville, NC, entstanden sind. Die Einnahmen wird Joyner spenden: "All the profits will be split between national organizations Color of Change and Grassroots Law Project, and local organizations the Union for Contemporary Art and Culxr House. All of these organizations are working to bring down the Goliaths in our current headlines and lift our communities up. Nicole Atkins - "Italian Ice"
Vor genau einer Woche veröffentlichte Nicole Atkins ihre feine neue LP "Italian Ice", die gleichermaßen eine Hommage an den Southern Soul und ihre alte Heimat New Jersey ist. Heute spendet die Amerikanerin sämtliche Einnahmen via Bandcamp für all ihre Werke - das neue Album inklusive - an Gather4justice, und zwar hier.

Mogwai - "Music Industry 3. Fitness Industry 1."
Die schottischen Krachmacher Mogwai bieten erstmal ihre "Music Industry 3. Fitness Industry 1."-EP digital an - ursprünglich 1994 veröffentlicht sind fünf Tracks enthalten, darunter auch Remixe von Blanck Mass, Rye Corner und Nils Frahm. Daneben auch sehr zu empfehlen ist der Soundtrack zur Serie "ZeroZeroZero". Alles und noch mehr erhätlich hier.

I Like Trains - "Kompromat" Clear Vinyl

Marissa Nadler - "Old Friends/Bookends"
Auch Marissa Nadler covert für den guten Zweck und zwar Simon & Garfunkel. Die Einnahmen für diesen und all ihre anderen Sacred-Bones-Veröffentlichung am heutigen Tag setzt sie für die gute Sache ein.
