The Fantasy Life Of Poetry & Crime
Das wird gut, das wird besonders, das wird berührend! Peter Doherty und Frédéric Lo haben eine gemeinsame Platte gemacht. Der eine ist der von den Libertines und Babyshambles, klar. Der andere ist ein französischer Musiker, Komponist, Arrangeur, Musikproduzent und Singer-Songwriter. Und "The Fantasy Life Of Poetry & Crime" heißt die gemeinsame Arbeit, die bereits am 18. März erscheint. Lo hat komponiert und produziert, Doherty schrieb die Texte. Die ersten Songs gefallen schon außerordentlich!
Nach
"The Fantasy Life Of Poetry & Crime" und "You Can't Keep It From Me Forever" erscheint nun der dritte Song. Hier läuft das Video zu "The Epidemiologist". Doherty sagt: "When Frédéric and I were sat at the kitchen table writing with guitars, we wanted the feel of 'The Last of The International Playboys' or 'Everyday is Like Sunday'. There are a number of references in the lyrics to films, writers and books. It’s about hope when things are a mess." Und Lo ergänzt: "It was one of the first songs I played to Peter but it was the last one we finished. Pop and a bit classical."
Und als ob das nicht reicht, kommen Peter Doherty & Frédéric Lo auch für zwei Shows nach Deutschland:
